Karen Bass is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida with 25 years of experience helping clients build fulfilling relationships, manage life’s challenges, and heal from past wounds. She earned her Master of Arts in Counseling Services from Rider University in 2001 and has worked across diverse settings, including private practice, hospitals, schools, non-profit agencies, and employee assistance programs.
Karen provides therapy to young adults, adults, and older adults, specializing in relationship issues, women’s issues, and childhood trauma. She also supports clients coping with anxiety, stress, anger, parenting challenges (including parents of special needs children), trauma, and major life transitions such as divorce or loss.
Her eclectic approach is grounded in person-centered care and draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Trauma-Focused Therapy. Karen creates a safe, compassionate space where clients can gain insight, build emotional resilience, and feel more empowered in their daily lives.
As a therapist, Karen is both a guide and an ally, helping clients clear past roadblocks and move toward a more confident, centered, and meaningful life.

“Healing begins when we give ourselves permission to grow beyond our past. I’m here to walk with you—one step, one insight, one breakthrough at a time.” K Bass
