Carelis Costello

Carelis Costello is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida providing psychotherapy to children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples. Originally earning her Bachelor's in Paralegal Studies, she transitioned to mental health counseling and received her Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. Her dedication to psychology led her to pursue a doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Carlos Albizu University in 2020.


Since the beginning of her clinical career, Carelis has worked in diverse settings treating a broad range of diagnoses, including anxiety, depression, behavioral disorders, and more. She uses evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing to support her clients’ healing and personal growth.


With over a decade of mental health experience, Carelis is passionate about empowering individuals to advocate for themselves and improve their mental health. As a bilingual New York native with Hispanic roots, she brings cultural sensitivity and a deep understanding of the challenges faced by multicultural communities. Her work is grounded in empathy, respect, and a strong commitment to lifelong learning in service of her clients and community.
